The PMST NEO combines two complementary technologies in one device: Physio Magneto Super Transduction (high-frequency pulsed electromagnetic field therapy) and NIRS near-infrared light therapy. Its unique ring-type coil applicator wraps around joints and links with the infrared handle so magnetic pulses penetrate deep into tissue while near-infrared light works on the same area at the same time. Designed for clinics, physiotherapy practices, and recovery studios supporting joint mobility, pain relief, circulation, and post-injury recovery — hands-free, comfortable, with no need to undress.

Why Clinics Choose PMST NEO

🧲
Up to 4 Tesla, 3000 Hz
High-intensity magnetic field up to 4 Tesla with a high oscillation frequency up to 3000 Hz. This high-frequency "super transduction" enables greater penetration depth than conventional PEMF — reaching deeper tissue and a wider range of areas.
🔴
NIRS Infrared, 3 Wavelengths
Near-infrared light therapy at 940nm / 660nm / 620nm penetrates skin and subcutaneous tissue to support circulation, comfort, and tissue recovery — used on its own or layered with the magnetic field.
Unique Ring-Coil Applicator
A ring-type electromagnetic coil fits around joints and connects with the NIRS applicator through a special connector — so magnetic pulse and infrared light focus on the same treatment area together for combined effect.
💪
Hands-Free, 10.4" Touch Screen
A 3-joint flexible holding arm positions the applicator hands-free, and a 10.4-inch touch screen with auto-recommended presets per body area makes operation straightforward. Treatment is comfortable, with no need to undress.
💡 What makes "Super Transduction" different from ordinary PEMF?

Most magnetic-field devices on the market are standard PEMF. PMST differs by using a much higher oscillation frequency (up to 3000 Hz) delivered through a ring-type coil. The higher frequency enables deeper penetration and a broader range of treatable areas, while the ring shape lets the field wrap around a joint rather than just sitting flat against the skin. Pairing it with near-infrared light on the same spot is what the manufacturer calls its integrated applicator — designed for stronger combined effect.

How PMST NEO Works

PMST NEO brings two technologies to the same treatment area. The closer the ring applicator sits to the treatment site, the stronger the energy delivered. Here's what each does:

1
Magnetic Pulses
High-frequency electromagnetic pulses penetrate deep into tissue, supporting cellular activity, circulation, and the body's natural recovery processes.
2
Near-Infrared Light
NIRS light is absorbed by skin and subcutaneous tissue, supporting local circulation and a soothing warming effect that aids comfort.
3
Combined on One Spot
Because the ring coil and infrared handle target the same area together, the two modalities are designed to reinforce each other.
4
Two Modes
ST mode (1000–3000 Hz, auto-recommended settings per area) for deep super-transduction; MT mode (1–100 Hz, adjustable) for tailored magnetic therapy.

Commonly Used For

PMST NEO is commonly used in clinics and recovery studios to support the following — as a non-invasive, comfortable, adjunct wellness therapy:

Joint comfort & mobility (knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, hands)
Chronic discomfort — back, shoulder, knee, neck
Sports recovery, muscle strain & tendon overuse
Post-activity recovery & physical performance support
Bone & tissue recovery support
Circulation support & swelling reduction
Carpal tunnel & wrist/elbow discomfort
Cervical, thoracic & lumbar comfort

What the Research Says

Both pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy and near-infrared light therapy have been studied in peer-reviewed literature. Selected findings:

PEMF for osteoarthritis — A 2024 systematic review of 17 studies (1,197 patients) reported pain reduction (VAS) and functional improvement (WOMAC) across various joints, primarily the knee.
PEMF for bone healing — PEMF is described in the literature as a safe modality studied for fracture non-unions and bone-defect healing support.
PEMF for joint pain — Randomized controlled trials have reported meaningful short-term pain-score reductions versus sham in early knee osteoarthritis.
Near-infrared light — NIR light therapy is widely studied for supporting circulation, comfort, and tissue recovery, and is regarded as safe and well-tolerated.
📚 Evidence Note

Findings refer to pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy and near-infrared light therapy as studied in peer-reviewed literature (e.g. systematic reviews indexed on PubMed), not to this specific device model. Research results across studies are not fully uniform — some trials report significant benefit while others are inconclusive, and authors consistently call for further high-quality research. These therapies are used as supportive / adjunct and wellness treatments, not as a substitute for medical care. This device holds CE certification and is not FDA-cleared. Individual results vary. See contraindications below; clients with any listed condition should consult a physician before use.

How to Use

1
Connect the Applicators
Connect the magneto ring handle. To combine therapies, place the NIRS infrared handle into the ring of the magnetic coil applicator.
2
Position with the Holding Arm
Adjust the 3-joint arm so the patterned-free treatment surface of the ring sits close to the area. The treated area can be clothed or exposed. Closer = stronger energy.
3
Select Mode & Body Part
Choose ST or MT mode and the target body part on the 10.4" screen. In ST mode the system auto-recommends parameters; adjust energy intensity (5–100%) as needed.
4
Start Treatment
Magneto sessions run ~5–20 min; NIRS ~20–30 min. The two can run separately or at the same time. A typical course is 6–8 sessions at 3–5 day intervals.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between PMST and ordinary PEMF?

PMST (Physio Magneto Super Transduction) uses a much higher oscillation frequency — up to 3000 Hz — delivered through a ring-type coil, versus the lower frequencies of conventional PEMF. The higher frequency is designed for deeper penetration and a wider range of treatable areas, and the ring shape lets the field wrap around joints.

Can the magneto and infrared run at the same time?

Yes. The NIRS infrared handle fits inside the ring coil so both target the same area together, or you can run either one independently. The combination is designed to reinforce the effect.

What's the difference between ST mode and MT mode?

ST mode (Super Transduction, 1000–3000 Hz) auto-recommends parameters per body part and the frequency is fixed. MT mode (Magneto Transduction, 1–100 Hz) lets you adjust the frequency manually for different clients and sites.

Does the client need to undress?

No. The treated area can be clothed or exposed — magnetic pulses and near-infrared light pass through to the target area. The closer the ring is to the treatment site, the stronger the energy delivered.

How long is a session and how many are needed?

Magneto sessions run about 5–20 minutes; NIRS sessions about 20–30 minutes. A typical course is 6–8 sessions at 3–5 day intervals, depending on the situation and response.

Is it FDA-cleared?

The device holds CE certification and is ROHS compliant. It is not FDA-cleared. It is intended as a supportive / adjunct wellness therapy and should be used by trained professionals; verify the regulations that apply in your region before offering treatments.
