A replacement handpiece is $600 per unit. With proper maintenance, a handle can be expected to last at least 5 years in normal clinic use, since the handle itself has no fixed shot limit — only the internal bullet is rated by shot count and is replaceable.

Can the SW30 run continuously for 30–60 minutes without overheating?

If operated continuously for 30 minutes, the handle will get hot, but the machine will not stop or give an alarm. You can continue operating, or let the handle cool down.
